I hope all who celebrate had a great Fourth of July. There was a ton of great action yesterday and things you need to know that happened for dynasty. Let’s dive in on ten names you need to know!

Grayson Rodriguez, RHP, BAL, 23, AAA

Rodriguez had arguably his best start of the season on Tuesday as he completed six scoreless innings with zero walks and 12 strikeouts. He had 27 whiffs overall, which is good for an absurd 56 percent rate, while also posting a 49 percent CSW.

The arsenal looked like vintage Rodriguez as his fastball was up one mph, which was exciting. He also dominated with his changeup and slider. It truly looked like the ace version of Rodriguez that we have not seen since his injury last season.

It seems likely that Rodriguez will be back up after the All-Star break, so if you need an arm, he is worth a stash.

Tarik Skubal, LHP, DET, 26, MLB

Skubal returned from the Injured List in impressive fashion as he fired four perfect innings with six strikeouts. One thing I noted a few weeks ago during his rehab stint was that his fastball velocity was way up, which was still the case Tuesday over a longer start. Skubal averaged 96.4 mph and touched 98.4, which was up from his 94.1 mph average fastball velocity last year.

Skubal only generated nine whiffs in the game which was good for a 25 percent rate while posting a 23 percent CSW. Despite the lower whiff rates, the arsenal looked good. Skubal’s slider averaged four inches more of vertical break, while his curve averaged six inches more of vertical drop.

I am very intrigued by the new look arsenal, and I would be buying Skubal everywhere I can.

Everson Pereira, OF, NYY, 22, AAA

Pereira is having a quiet year compared to his actual performance, in which he is slashing .294/.363/.559 with 11 home runs and seven stolen bases. That Double-A performance earned him a call-up to Triple-A, where he made his debut on Tuesday.

Pereira got off to a hot start, collecting two hits, including a home run in his Triple-A debut. He had three hard-hit balls, including his home run that left the bat at 111.4 mph and a single that had an exit velocity of 109 mph. Pereira hits the ball hard and makes good contact. It seems like the perceived value here is lower than it should be, given how good Pereira has been.
