OBP Dynasty Fantasy Baseball Rankings from Chris Clegg.

My Dynasty rankings have a focus on a three-year window. These rankings are designed to give you a good idea of how to draft a dynasty startup but also provide trade value. It is not perfect when negotiating a trade because every team is built differently, but this gives you a decent idea of where values lie when discussing trades.

A couple of important notes when looking at these rankings:

• I omitted Wander Franco and Julio Urias completely. Not much else needs to be said.

• Shoehi Ohtani is another tough rank. Does he pitch again ever? If he does not, how does he return from Tommy John? I left him top-10, but it may be a decent time to sell him if you get at top-10 return.

• With many dynasty leagues using saves+holds instead of saves, I value relievers that way for this list. In saves+holds, I would much rather wait on relievers with great ratios that will get holds since they are valued the same as saves. Therefore, you will find fewer relievers on my list than others. I try to tier the relievers based on skill level and the number of Sv/Hld they can provide.

• These rankings are designed for a 5x5 league with OBP. Head over to the site to find rankings for Points and AVG Leagues.

• For league type, I assume a 15-team, one-catcher league. In a shallower format, catchers become less valuable, and high-end players are more valuable because the replacement level is higher.

• These rankings factor in weekly lineup leagues.

It is important to think about team build when using a dynasty list. If you are rebuilding or built to win in year 2, push prospects and younger players up. Drop players like Verlander and Scherzer down a bit.

If you are built to win now, pieces like Verlander and Scherzer are much more valuable to you despite having less trade value.
