1. Jefferson Rojas, MI, 21, 5’11”/150, AA (Prev Rank: 2 in CHC)

2026 Update

Rojas entered 2025 with a ton of hype, and while the surface numbers look sub-par, there are still things to like in the profile. Across 471 plate appearances, Rojas slashed .236/.343/.387 with 11 home runs and 19 stolen bases, pairing a 12 percent walk rate with a 17 percent strikeout rate in Double-A.

Rojas has returned and looks to be putting it together in 2026 and could be on the verge of a Triple-A promotion. Despite beginning the year as a 20-year-old, Rojas has developed incredibly well. He has already surpassed his career best home run total at 14 and is slashing .273/.345/.472.

The statcast and contact data show Rojas has traits and performance you want to see in a top 100 prospect. The exit velocities are solid, and Rojas has shown above-average contact skills. The chase rate being above 30 percent is higher than you would like to see, but he gets the most of his batted balls.

Rojas’ swing is simple and controlled. He uses the whole field and doesn’t sell out for pull-side power. There is also some decent speed and a strong feel to steal bases as he has 14 stolen bases on 19 attempts.
