It is quite early to start thinking about FYPD rankings for this summer's draft, but it is never too early to start diving into players and how valuable picks might be. Knowing the value of each of the top prospects for the upcoming draft cycle helps you gauge whether it may be worth trading for more picks or maybe cashing out on what you have for win-now pieces.

At the time of writing in mid-April, this draft class looks quite strong at the top and has a pretty deep crop of hitters and pitchers. It is one of my favorite draft classes since the 2023 crop that produced Paul Skenes, Dylan Crews, Max Clark, Wyatt Langford, Jacob Wilson, plus a ton of other talent.

While Roch Cholowsky seems like the first slam dunk 1.1 FYPD pick we have had in some time, if you don’t have the first pick, you can find plenty of talented bats. While it is early, lets talk who is standing out and how we rank the player thus far.
