Colorado Rockies Top Prospects for 2026

1. Roldy Brito, 2B/OF, 18, 5’11”/183, A+ (Prev Rank: 3)

2026 Update

Roldy Brito has made his way to High-A after hitting 8 homers, stealing 27 bags, and hitting .327/.390/.506 at Single-A. Roldy Brito has a solid mix of floor and ceiling as a fantasy prospect, thanks to a linear swing that could be tweaked to unlock more power and double-plus speed. He is a routine 20/20 type hitter with upside for more in the power department and even more in the speed department. He is an easy buy right now, as he could be a five-category contributor for you in all your leagues.

Roldy Brito torched the Arizona Complex League in 2025, hitting .368/.445/.555 and running wild on the basepaths, stealing 22 bases. He was then promoted to the California League, where he hit .375/.444/.463 and stole 13 bags while spending time in Fresno.

Roldy Brito is a slap-and-dash type that maybe, just maybe, you can project more power onto. He hits the ball on the ground quite a bit, posting a ground-ball rate of 56% split between the complex league and Single-A, which negates the bit of pull-side power Brito brings to the plate. He is also an aggressive swinger who sacrifices quality of contact for a higher quantity of contact.

Brito showed a touch of pull-side juice when I saw him, albeit it is more extra-base power as opposed to over-the-fence pop. So he could project out to be a 12-homer bat if he can get the ball off the ground. There is ample speed here, which can help the SLG% as he can stretch singles into doubles and what would be doubles into triples. He also pairs that with speed on the basepaths, and with some slight tweaks to his baserunning aggressiveness, he could do better than his 35 stolen bases in 49 attempts.

Like a lot of young Rockies prospects, he is an aggressive swinger with some tools. It could be 12-15 homers at maturity while also stealing over 30+ bags a season if given the opportunity to run wild. All this, while being somewhat positionally versatile as he could play second base and any of the three outfield spots, could really help out a fantasy roster. He is a nice deep-league low-end starter or a really good MIF option for a shallower league where you are looking for some stolen bases and just enough power and ratios to be worthwhile.
